The Sped Specialist Difference

Special education can be complicated. Understanding the terminology, processes, paperwork, and expectations can sometimes feel overwhelming for families, educators, and even businesses. The Sped Specialist, LLC was created to make that process easier to understand and navigate.

My approach is centered on the individual—not simply the disability or the paperwork. I work alongside families to help them understand the special education process, prepare for important conversations and meetings, and make informed decisions that support meaningful outcomes for their child.

I also work with businesses and organizations to build understanding of special education and the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. Through professional development, staff training, online trainings, and webinars, I help make concepts such as the Individualized Education Program (IEP) more understandable and meaningful for those who support individuals with special needs.
